1 Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Selenium Kitchen. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at www.seleniumkitchen.com (the "Website") and all services provided by Selenium Kitchen ("we", "us", "our"), including placing orders for our bakery products.
By accessing our Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Selenium Kitchen. Please read them carefully before using our Website or placing an order.
2 Eligibility
To use our Website and place orders, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or be using the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
- Have a valid mobile number capable of receiving OTP-based verification
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or placing an order
- Not be barred from receiving services under any applicable law
By using our Website, you represent and warrant that you meet all of these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
3 Products & Descriptions
Selenium Kitchen specialises in eggless, preservative-free and gluten-free baked products including dry cakes, brownies, cookies, desserts and gift hampers. All our products are FSSAI certified and produced in our Gurgaon kitchen (FSSAI Licence No.: 23324011004656).
3.1 Product Accuracy
We make every effort to display products accurately on our Website, including photographs, descriptions, weight, ingredients and allergen information. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images or other content are completely accurate, complete, current or error-free. Actual product appearance may vary slightly from the images shown due to photography and display differences.
3.2 Availability
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you and offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund.
3.3 Freshness Guarantee
All Selenium Kitchen products are freshly baked on the day of dispatch. We guarantee freshness at the time of delivery. If you receive a product that does not meet our freshness standard, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or full refund.
3.4 Allergen Information
While all our products are eggless, some products contain tree nuts, dairy, gluten or other allergens. Allergen information is listed on each product page. Customers with severe allergies are advised to contact us at support@seleniumkitchen.com before placing an order.
4 Ordering Process
4.1 Placing an Order
Orders can be placed through our Website by adding products to your cart and completing the checkout process. You will receive an order confirmation via SMS and/or WhatsApp once your order is successfully placed. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of your order by Selenium Kitchen.
4.2 Order Modification
You may request modification of your order (change of address, time slot or quantity) within 30 minutes of placing it by contacting us on WhatsApp or calling +91 84485 55787. After 30 minutes, orders may have entered preparation and modifications may not be possible.
4.3 Order Confirmation
Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute a binding contract until your order has been accepted and dispatched by us. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, product unavailability or suspected fraud, with a full refund issued.
4.4 Coupon Codes & Promotions
Promotional coupon codes and discounts are subject to individual terms and conditions. Only one coupon code may be applied per order. Coupons cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Selenium Kitchen reserves the right to discontinue any promotional offer without prior notice.
5 Pricing & Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices displayed on our Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery charges, if any, are displayed separately at checkout. Prices may change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order.

5.3 Payment Security
All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways using SSL encryption. Selenium Kitchen does not store your card details on our servers. In case of a payment failure where your bank account has been debited, please contact us with your bank transaction reference within 48 hours and we will verify and resolve within 3–5 business days.
6 Delivery Terms
Delivery terms are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Key points:
- Same-day delivery is available across all Delhi pincodes for orders placed before 2:00 PM
- We currently deliver across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad
- Selenium Kitchen is not liable for delivery delays caused by incorrect addresses, recipient unavailability, or circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, force majeure)
- Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery to the provided address
7 Cancellations & Refunds
Our cancellation and refund terms are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Key points:
- Cancellations accepted within 1 hour of order placement before baking begins
- Refunds for valid claims processed within 3–7 business days to the original payment method
- Freshness complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
- Products are perishable — returns of delivered products are not required for refund claims
8 Intellectual Property
All content on the Selenium Kitchen Website, including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, is the property of Selenium Kitchen or its content suppliers and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any material from our Website without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use of our Website content is permitted for browsing purposes only.
9 User Conduct
When using our Website, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information when placing an order or creating an account
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, server, or database
- Use automated tools, bots or scrapers to extract data from the Website without our consent
- Post or submit content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, threatening or otherwise objectionable
- Submit fake product reviews or manipulate ratings
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
We reserve the right to terminate accounts and refuse service to any user who violates these conduct standards.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Selenium Kitchen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from:
- Your use or inability to use our Website or services
- Delays or failures in delivery caused by third-party logistics providers
- Errors or omissions in product descriptions or pricing
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data resulting from third-party breaches
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of our Website or services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). These Terms are subject to applicable law and shall be read in conjunction with your legal consumer rights.
11 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Please contact us at support@seleniumkitchen.com to raise any dispute. We will endeavour to respond within 5 business days.
