1 Delivery Overview

At Selenium Kitchen, every product is freshly baked on the day of delivery. This means our delivery operations run every single day to ensure that what arrives at your door has been baked that morning. We take delivery as seriously as baking — because a cake that arrives late or damaged is not the Selenium Kitchen experience.

We currently deliver across Delhi NCR, covering all major pincodes in New Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Delivery coverage is expanding regularly — you can check pincode availability at checkout.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary during peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas, New Year), adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. We will proactively notify you of any significant delays via WhatsApp or SMS.

All delivery charges are displayed at checkout before payment. Delivery charges are non-refundable except in cases where the order is cancelled before dispatch or where a delivery failure is caused by our error.

4 Same Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is our flagship service, available across all Delhi pincodes. To qualify for same-day delivery:

• Your order must be placed and payment confirmed before 2:00 PM on the desired delivery day
• Your delivery address must fall within our Delhi delivery zone (check at checkout)
• All items in your cart must be available for same-day preparation

Orders placed after 2:00 PM will be automatically scheduled for the next available delivery slot. You will receive a WhatsApp/SMS confirmation with your estimated delivery window.

Same-day delivery is available 7 days a week, including Sundays and most public holidays. During peak festival periods, we recommend ordering at least 24–48 hours in advance to guarantee your preferred delivery date.

5 Express Delivery (2–3 Hours)

Express delivery is available across all our delivery zones for a flat charge of ₹49 (Delhi/Noida/Gurgaon) or ₹79 (Faridabad/Ghaziabad). Your order will be delivered within 2–3 hours of payment confirmation.

Express delivery is available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Orders placed after 6:00 PM for express delivery will be processed for next-day morning delivery.

Express delivery is subject to rider availability in your area. In rare cases where express delivery cannot be fulfilled within the promised window, we will notify you and offer a standard delivery or a full refund of the delivery charge.

6 Scheduled Delivery

You can schedule your delivery up to 7 days in advance by selecting the Scheduled Delivery option at checkout (₹99). Available delivery time slots are:

• Morning Slot: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon Slot: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Evening Slot: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We bake your order on the morning of your chosen delivery date to ensure maximum freshness. Scheduled delivery is ideal for birthday gifting, anniversary surprises or corporate gifting where timing is critical.

7 Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a WhatsApp and SMS notification containing:

• Your order ID and dispatch confirmation
• A real-time tracking link
• Your delivery partner's name and contact number
• Your estimated delivery window

You can also track your order at any time from the "My Orders" section of your account. If you have not received a tracking update within 30 minutes of your expected dispatch time, please contact us on WhatsApp or call +91 84485 55787.

8 Packaging Standards

Every Selenium Kitchen order is packaged to protect your product during transit and maintain freshness:

• Eco-friendly outer box: Rigid, food-safe corrugated boxes that protect against impact
• Food-grade inner packaging: All products are wrapped in food-grade materials approved for bakery use
• Tamper-evident seals: All packages are sealed so you can verify they have not been opened in transit
• Temperature consideration: Products are packaged to maintain optimal freshness at ambient temperatures during transit
• Personalised message cards: Included at no extra charge when you add a message during checkout

We are committed to reducing single-use plastic. Our packaging materials are progressively being shifted to recyclable or biodegradable alternatives.

9 Failed Deliveries

A delivery may be considered failed if:

• The recipient is unavailable at the delivery address and cannot be reached by phone
• The delivery address provided is incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible
• The building security or society restricts delivery access

In case of a failed delivery attempt, our delivery partner will contact you on the registered mobile number. If contact cannot be made, the order will be held for up to 2 hours before being returned to our kitchen.

For failed deliveries caused by recipient unavailability or incorrect address, redelivery will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. An additional delivery charge may apply for re-attempts. Since our products are freshly baked and perishable, failed deliveries where the product cannot be safely rescheduled may not qualify for a refund — please contact our support team to discuss your specific situation.

10 Bulk & Corporate Delivery

For bulk orders (25+ units) and corporate gifting programmes, we offer specialised delivery services:

• Pan-India shipping: Available for orders of 100+ units via cold-chain certified courier partners. Contact support@seleniumkitchen.com for a quote.
• Multi-location delivery: We can deliver to multiple addresses within Delhi NCR as part of a single bulk order. Each address is treated as a separate delivery.
• Dedicated delivery windows: For corporate events, we can arrange specific delivery time windows with advance coordination.
• Minimum lead time: Bulk orders of 25–99 units require 5–7 days advance notice. Orders of 100+ units require 10–14 days notice.
